If you live in the Atlanta metropolitan area, local pick-up is available at no charge. Just select the local pick-up option during check-out, and contact us to arrange a pick-up date. UPS
In-stock items will ship within three to five business days via UPS. Once your order ships please allow between two and eight days for delivery.We use UPS to ship most In-stock orders within the continental United States. Shipping charges will be added to your order during checkout, based on your zip code and shipping rate selected

Special Shipping
Certain items require special shipping due to their size and/or weight. This is noted on the item’s product description page. In such cases, you will be prompted to contact us so that we may help determine the best shipping method for you. We will contact you with a shipping quote for approval prior to finalizing your order and payment.
We are unable to process International web orders. In order to receive an International ship quote, please contact us and provide your full shipping address, phone number and the exact item and quantity you would like to order.

Freight Delivery
Bulky orders with items too large to be dependably and economically shipped by UPS will be shipped with a freight carrier. If your order is oversized, we will contact you and provide delivery rates. We will charge you our actual shipping cost for freight delivery, plus a modest handling and material fee.

In-Home Furniture Delivery
Please call for an in-home delivery quote. Price varies depending upon the level of service you require, the item(s) and destination.

Rush Delivery
If you need your item in a hurry, please contact us to arrange upgrades to shipping options for an extra charge.

E-mail Notification
If you provide us with your e-mail address when you place your order, we can notify you when we ship your package and provide you with the UPS tracking number.

Freight Damage
Please inspect your order the moment you receive it. If a piece arrives damaged, please contact us right away at [email protected] so we can help determine the best way to return it. If you suspect damage upon delivery (for example, if the outer packaging is damaged), please note “Possible Freight Damage” on the delivery receipt when you sign for the package.
Our products are packaged very carefully, but sometimes they are fragile and they are always one of a kind. Because there is typically only one of each item, it is not possible to replace it with the same item, but we will work with you to arrange for the return of the item and issue a credit towards another Design Samaritan piece. Remember that none of our items are new, but refurbished. We are proud of their unique character, and believe that signs of their previous use only add to their value. Finishes that are not replaced are reconditioned with care. This does not remove dents and depressions in wood for example, so please be aware that you are receiving a piece that will obviously look different than a mass-produced item that has never been used.

Returns
We work hard to make sure each Design Samaritan piece finds a good home. If your purchase doesn’t feel like a comfortable fit, you may return it to us in its original condition for a credit towards another piece within 30 days from the delivery date. Contact us at [email protected] to let us know. We are unable to issue a refund as the proceeds from your purchase are used to provide a piece to a needy family. We think you’ll understand that the need for donated pieces is much greater than we can fulfill, so your contribution in the form of your purchase is put to work immediately.
We ask that you pay the return shipping to allow us to dedicate the maximum amount of resources towards donations. Remember to include insurance to protect against damage during shipping, because you never know what may happen while the piece is in transit. Before returning the item, contact us for shipping instructions. Repack the items carefully in the original packing materials. We suggest giving each item at least two inches of padding.
Sometimes you change your mind, so please let us know within 24 hours if you would like to cancel your order. Once the order is shipped, it’s happily on its way to your home.
